I haven't bought much new scrapbook supplies. So when I finally received an order of gorgeous Elle's Studio Sycamore Lane, I immediately tore into it and started a layout. I love this line so much, I'm planning to use it to create my Week in the Life mini album. It's absolutely perfect.
Journaling says: This may look like a guy putting together a chair... and it is, but its so much more. Look past Ryan, you see Teddy scoping out the box it came in. She loves cardboard boxes and I know she plans to sleep in it every single night. Gosh I love that sweet baby girl.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look.
Anyone who has ever had a kitten knows what it means to see pure curiosity. I mean, hello? They're cats. It's their nature. Curiosity killed the cat, right? Not really, it just made them super smart. For Chewy, like every other cat we've owned, we sat a mirror on the floor at kitten level so he could explore his curiosity. It's so amazingly funny to watch him look for "the other cat in the mirror". The best part was that Bert came into the room and pretty much did the same exact thing. At 2 years old. Evidence that he's just a really big kitten at heart. Man, I love my boys.
I used Printshop by Studio Calico for the layered papers, the labels are October Afternoon, Simple Stories, Freckled Fawn, and Studio Calico printables, the word stickers are Simple Stories, I made the foam letters from fun foam, using my Lawn Fawn dies, and the clear letter, flair, and wood veneer are Freckled Fawn.
I love how the Printshop collection has such bright colors that work for both masculine and feminine pages, but also contains tons of neutral prints too. I think it's one of my absolute favorites. Thanks for taking a look.
Today was filled with relaxation. Today was filled with cooking with our new cookware. Today we printed resumes and took a short drive. Today was a great day. Not many words, not many to dos.
Today we celebrated the first day of November with pumpkin rolls for breakfast.
Today we celebrated. Today we began our seventh year of marriage. Today I drove to Atlanta. Like always. Today we filled up on some amazing barbeque. Today we witnessed some strange road rage. (not from or towards us, thankfully) Today we bought some favorites from Trader Joe's. Today we wore cardigans and jackets. Today we ended our celebration with Belgian Butter Waffle Cookies & Pumpkin milkshakes. Today was a good day.
I am a memory keeping, history loving, video game playing, sometimes french speaking, Incubus obsessed, book reading, best friend loving, cat cuddling, overly excited, self-proclaimed nerd.
