Most people are ringing in the new year thinking about the kinds of resolutions they have made for the year, myself included. My main focus for the year is to use up my paper. I have accumulated quite a bit over the years. I've gotten rid of a lot. I mainly only have paper I really love right now. But I do want to use it up, I want it in my albums and off my shelves, so to speak. Like I wrote my last post, I'm going to challenge myself to make NO frivolous crafty purchases, outside of adhesives and photos, until I have made 75 layouts. 75! It's a hefty challenge, but I really want to get back to my roots as a scrapbooker. When I first started scrapbooking I didn't have much, but that was exactly what motivated me to make pages. Seriously. I made so many more pages than I do today. So many. I'm planning to keep this fresh for myself. I'm going to issue myself challenges throughout the year, as I make my way through my self-imposed restrictions. I hope you join me on this ride.
I'm excited to have my first page towards my 75 goal completed. Only 74 layouts to go. I have to figure out how to keep track of it. I need a counter app or something. I know I will probably lose a sticky note with tick marks on it. So I have to search for something.
I'll be coming back soon with something I'm super excited to share. I've been waiting almost 2 months to spill the beans, but it'll be worth the wait.
